“Rubber Ducks”
Bright, familiar and perhaps a little ridiculous, rubber ducks carry an innocence that is difficult to take entirely seriously.
Here, the ordinary becomes something less certain. Repetition, colour and form create a playful encounter that hints at childhood, nostalgia and the strange comfort of objects we once took for granted.
But beneath the humour, something else may be floating.
After all, why do we find comfort in the things we know are only pretending to be real?
